We are expanding our network of local partners in Russia to enhance our ability to execute projects with precision, local expertise, and cultural understanding. This role focuses on building partnerships with highly motivated and resourceful individuals or organizations with deep knowledge of Russia's socio-economic, political, and cultural landscape.

Position Overview

As a General Local Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Nexus Insight’s project implementation in Russia. You will act as a liaison, leveraging your local expertise, networks, and knowledge to contribute to project success. This partnership is ideal for individuals or organizations familiar with Russia’s diverse environment and capable of managing dynamic project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Local Engagement: Provide critical insights into Russia’s regional and local contexts, ensuring project alignment with on-the-ground realities.

Networking: Establish and maintain connections with relevant stakeholders, including community leaders, governmental agencies, NGOs, and private sector representatives.

Field Support: Facilitate data collection, stakeholder interviews, and on-site visits as required by project specifications.

Monitoring: Monitor local developments and provide timely updates on issues relevant to project goals.

Logistics Coordination: Support logistical arrangements for fieldwork, including transportation, accommodations, and security considerations.

Analysis and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of reports, summaries, and presentations based on local research findings and observations.

Cultural Mediation: Bridge cultural and linguistic gaps to enhance project efficiency and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Local Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Russia’s political, economic, and cultural landscapes.

Proven Track Record: Experience in research, project management, consultancy, or similar roles within Russia.

Networking Abilities: Strong network of contacts across key sectors in Russia.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Arabic, Kurdish, or other relevant languages; English proficiency is an advantage.

Adaptability: Ability to navigate complex environments and work within diverse teams.

Organizational Skills: Strong ability to coordinate activities, manage timelines, and deliver quality results.
