Position Overview

As a Conflict Reporter, you will play a crucial role in gathering and documenting real-time information on the Iran-Hezbollah and Israel conflict, as well as the overall situation in South Iran. You will be responsible for conducting investigative research, providing local conflict updates, and engaging in journalistic activities to produce insightful reports.

Key Responsibilities

Local Conflict Updates:

Monitor and report on the ongoing Iran-Hezbollah and Israel conflict.

Provide regular updates on key events, shifts, and developments in South Iran.

Media and Documentation:

Collect and document information from various local sources, including news outlets, social media, and direct observations.

Maintain an organized archive of all collected media and documentation for reference and analysis.

Journalistic Research:

Conduct investigative research to uncover hidden aspects of the conflict.

Analyze data and sources to produce detailed and accurate reports.

Interviews and One-to-One Communications:

Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, including local residents, officials, and experts.

Develop and maintain a network of contacts to gain valuable insights and firsthand information.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with our editorial and research teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of reports.

Contribute to the development of multimedia content, including articles, videos, and podcasts.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in journalism, conflict reporting, or a related field.

Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English is required. Additional languages are a plus.

Research Skills: Strong investigative research skills with a proven ability to uncover and verify information.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct and document interviews effectively.

Local Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the political and social landscape of Iran, particularly in relation to the Iran-Hezbollah and Israel conflict.
